Eve Kennedy

Eve is a young professional violinist, originally from Scotland, who now lives in London and has close links to Oxford: in 2019, she performed a violin and piano recital in the Holywell; and since 2018, she has given yearly performances as a soloist in Christ Church Cathedral.  

She has performed the Bruch, Mendelssohn, Tchaikovsky, and Mozart D major violin concertos with various orchestras, as well as the Vivaldi Four Seasons. 

More recently, she performed the violin solo in Vaughn Williams 'The Lark Ascending', and also the Dvorak 'Romance', both with orchestra.

Eve has said:  “I’m delighted to join the St Giles Orchestra for a performance of Tchaikovsky’s dazzling and thrilling violin concerto.  If I had to choose, it would be my favourite work in the repertoire, and I’m really looking forward to working with such an enthusiastic, talented, and dedicated group of musicians.”
