The performance
On 5 April 2014, the 70-strong SGO teamed up with Wantage Choral Society (69 members) and Bicester Choral and Operatic Society (54 members) to give a performance of Verdi's Requiem in Oxford Town Hall, conducted by Geoffrey Bushell. The soloists were soprano Karen Richmond, mezzo-soprano Jeanette Ager, tenor Martin Quinn, and bass Laurence Williams.
